Essential Personnel are delighted to be working with a family-run and ever-growing company based in Stockport who are seeking a Sales Adviser to join their team in a fully office-based role.
As a Sales Adviser your role is to progress inbound calls to meet and exceed sales targets whilst providing the highest quality of customer experience to meet the business plan and maximise profits.
Synopsis of this role:
Main Responsibilities:
- Effective delivery of sales targets and goals
- To be the first point of contact for inbound sales calls
- Making outbound sales calls to target customers
- Dealing with Web queries
- Working cross functionally with Estimating team to support generation of quotes in a timely manner
- Provision of all relevant information to potential customers including sample products, pricing etc. ensuring that the information is fully understood
- Tailor approach to meet customer needs and requirements
Essential Skills:
- Experience in sales and customer service
- Significant knowledge of negotiation and sales approaches
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills
- Ability to establish needs of others in order to provide the right product
- Good internal and external stakeholder management
- Ability to interpret and manage self against tracking systems and procedures
- Experience of ERP and CRM systems (Sage desirable)
Working hours are Mon-Friday 08:30 to 17:00 This is a fully office-based role.

Business Development Executive

Essential Personnel are delighted to be working with leading and ever-growing company based in Worsley who are seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team in a fully office-based role.
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in supporting the Sales Director and wider sales function. You will manage day-to-day customer relationships, handle incoming and proactive new business communication, and deliver timely and accurate quotations. This is a dynamic role with regular Teams meetings, both internal and client-facing, where clear communication and attention to detail are vital.
Synopsis of this role:
- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day customer enquiries via phone, email, and Teams.
- Make outbound calls to develop new business opportunities and build client relationships.
- Attend regular Microsoft Teams meetings with internal and external clients.
- Generate accurate quotations and proposals promptly.
- Work closely with the Sales Director to prioritise leads and follow up on opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries efficiently.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or business development/account management role
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Strong telephone manner with ability to build rapport quickly
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable:
- Experience in the uniform, garment, or B2B product sales sector
Working hours are Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00. This is a fully office-based role.
